Michigan Science Olympiad

Michigan State University has proudly hosted the Michigan Science Olympiad State Tournament for 21 consecutive years and will celebrate its 22th Tournament in 2012. Over these past years, thousands of students have experienced a high level of competition on the campus of the nation's premier land grant institution.

The tournament at Michigan State University is sponsored from the Office of the Vice Provost for University Outreach and Engagement (learn more about MSU-UOE) since 2011. The tournament was previously sponsored by the College of Natural Science. The state tournament activity at MSU has been generously supported by a gift the Dart Foundation since 2005. Faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students from across MSU's vast academic platform support the tournament in many ways. The centrality in the state, and beautiful park like campus make the day for the many student competitors. MSU is pleased to he a long time partner in the unique pre-college scholastic event.
